Would you like to master a new knitting or stitching skill?

Is it time to try something new?

Are you a dyed-in-the-wool crocheter?  Or maybe a quilter whose stitching has stayed firmly in the ditch? Do you shy away from having a go at a different textile craft because you think it looks too complicated, or just because you have never had the opportunity to have a go for yourself?

Well here's your chance!  Coming to Scotland this year is The Knitting and Stitching Show and for the first time ever it's being held at The Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.

The Knitting & Stitching Show was established over 20 years ago over which time it has earned a reputation as the best sewing exhibition for textile lovers anywhere in the UK.

There are nearly 100 workshops on offer at The Royal Highland Centre. Learn to knit, crochet, sew or quilt; the expertise on offer at this sewing exhibition rival any you'll find locally. There's no other knitting show like it!

Find out more over at The Knitting and Stitching Show website.

It's sure to be a great day out!

It's Nice to be Reminded...

when you've done something well!  I received a lovely card from a customer whom attended a Hardanger Class over a few weeks.  I have patience in abundance and try to share that skill as part of my way of assuring my Embroidery Students.

It's great to see a keen student understand just a little bit that will help them put into practise the skills learnt from the classes and look forward to doing some more.  Thanks to Anne for the lovely card and for her appreciation of help on the way.

My sincere apologies for not posting as my full time position has taken precedence this past year or so and looking to improve on that very soon.

Thanks so much for reading and hope you all have a great weekend! ;O)
